Pony Power Therapies, a nonprofit organization located in Mahwah, NJ, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Adaptive Riding Instructor to join our hardworking and compassionate team. The Instructor will play a critical role in supporting the development of children and adults with disabilities or life challenges to the wonders of horses both riding and from the ground. This position requires experience with beginner riding instruction and horsemanship, equine care, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset. Experience teaching riding lessons, particularly in an adaptice setting, is a plus. However, training the right candidate will be considered.

Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with horses and riding instruction; therapeutic riding center experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of equine behavior, safety, and care. Experience teaching riding lessons (therapeutic or traditional). Reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to animal care. Strong communication and organizational skills. Team player who is flexible and willing to pitch in as needed.
