Old Salem Farm is looking for a motivated, hardworking individual interested in developing a career in the Hunter/Jumper industry.

We are a rapidly growing, high-level Hunter/Jumper/Equitation program based in North Salem, NY, with exceptional facilities and A-rated and FEI competitions hosted on-site throughout the year.

We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in horse care and flatwork who is eager to learn, work hard and grow within our program.

Daily responsibilities will include preparing grain, assisting with management of the groom staff, overseeing horse care, and flatting horses. For the right individual, there will be opportunities to develop into more substantial riding, teaching, and showing roles.

We’re happy to teach someone who is willing to learn. A good attitude, strong work ethic and genuine interest in becoming a better horseman are more important to us than an extensive resume.
