🌾 Position Overview We are a small Thoroughbred farm seeking an experienced, motivated groom. This role involves working with mares, foals, and Thoroughbred lay‑ups, and requires someone who can confidently handle horses and recognize injuries or abnormal behavior.
🐎 Responsibilities Daily horse care — feeding, grooming, walking, administering oral medications
Barn management — mucking stalls, turnout and bring‑in
General farm duties — maintaining clean, safe working areas
🔧 Requirements Reliable transportation
Experience with horses (mares, foals, lay‑ups)
Ability to identify injuries or abnormal behavior
Strong work ethic and motivation
⏰ Schedule Full‑time: 45 hours/week
Five days: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1‑hour lunch)
One day: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
💵 Compensation & Benefits Weekly pay through a timecard system
All required state and federal taxes will be withheld.

No housing, you need to live close to Rhinebeck, NY. Winter travel is difficult, living in Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Kingston, Saugerties etc would be best.
