We don’t do shortcuts. We do sound, functional, and correctly moving horses—one step at a time. If you know that a horse traveling round doesn’t mean “head down and hope for the best,” and you’ve got the patience to help green or rehab horses figure out how to use their bodies well, you’ll fit in just fine here. We’re a busy, multi-discipline training and lesson program in North Carolina working in dressage, jumping, driving, and rehab. We focus heavily on developing proper movement and strength through correct work—starting on the ground and carrying through to the saddle. We value clarity, calmness, and doing the job right, not fast. We’re looking for a capable rider who can handle green horses, wants to keep learning, and isn’t afraid of a little sweat or a few humble moments. You’ll be part of a very solid, drama-free team that actually likes their work and each other (weird, we know). The position includes salary, commission, housing, and board for one horse. You’ll also have regular access to top clinicians and continuing education.
