Almost all horses on-site have been born here and been sired by stallions that have produced over one million dollars in cutting, reining, or working stock horse events. We currently started using 4 of our home raised stallions to breed our mares. The stallions are taken off site to be collected & there is no breeding of stallions at our training facility.
Though there are 24 horses on site, most of them are trained reining horses ranging in age from 35 to 7 and do not need to be trained. The applicant would be responsible for keeping the stallions ridden, coordinating with our reproductive vet for for ultra sounds, track heat cycles, help monitor pregnant mares via night checks, foaling cameras/monitors, assist with deliveries, and ensure that both mare & foal hit critical milestones post-delivery. There are 4 young horses that need to be started. The current staff of young adults have been here for at least 3 years and are available to help tack up, exercise, warm up any of the horses being worked with. There are no boarders nor training of outside horses.
Additional benefits such as relocation expenses, marketing & sales commissions, personal horse boarding and paid time off will be negotiated on an individual basis.
We also work closely with the community & local college to help people with learning difficulties discover the benefits of having a job in the equine industry.
