We are looking for someone to work weekends, cover days off on the yard and also possibly travel to shows locally and nationally if required.
Job includes all normal yard duties, mucking out and feeding, rugs and turnout.
Also experience of competition environments an advantage along with ability to clip, plait, pull and bath for shows.
Hours to be arranged and dependent on competition commitments.
Candidate should take pride in their work and the appearance of horses and tack.
Great people to work with and help to further your career if required whether that be as a groom or rider training on the job.
Requirements
An enthusiastic and cheerful personality, good sense of humour and can do attitude.
Ability to work without supervision and be resposible for the horses welfare.
Good people skills for dealing with livery and schooling clients.

On the job training if required to further skills in ground work in the school, preparation for training (stretches for the horses), ridden training for both dressage and jumping.
The resident riders have competed up to international level and take pleasure in educating and helping others work more effectively.

A great opportunity for someone to learn new skills and gain exposure to a wide range of show environments both dressage and show jumping. All horses are kind and well behaved. Training on the job will be given where needed to ensure standards are maintained. Attendance at training as well as shows possible to allow learning through observation as well as on the job training. Fantastic facilities with ongoing improvements all the time. Up to 20 horses from ponies on livery through to 16.2 dressage and show jumping horses.
