In 2008 I acquired my Pony Club B Test which is equivalent to the British Horse Society (BHS) Stage 2 teaching qualification. I have taught regularly at my local Pony Club, taking group lessons of the younger members of my Pony Club of varying ages as well as individual lessons. Before covid in 2019 I was living in Canada and was working as a Yard Manager and horse riding instructor for group and individual lessons, teaching both children and adults. I also worked as a horse Trekking guide in NZ

I’m experienced in most areas of horse care and handling horses of all sizes and experience. I enjoy particularly focusing on horsemanship both on the ground and in the saddle to achieve a great balance between horse and rider.

I have been horse riding since I was 8 years old. I started competing every week in SJI registered showjumping from the age of 10 until I was 27. I competed all over the UK and Ireland mostly showjumping up to 1.35m classes with many ponies and horses throughout the years and many wins and places. I also hunted and evented for several years, I started eventing at 17 and competed in Eventing Ireland at 1 star level, as well as many events and shows through my Pony Club.
