Equine Work Experience
General horse care and management- feeding, rugging, turning out, cleaning stables to a high standard, cleaning paddocks, basic equine first aid. Keen eye for detail. Groom experience - grooming, washing, tacking/untacking, ice booting, plaiting and competition prep etc Groundwork, parelli and natural horsemanship exercises on the ground, lunging, long reining, schooling horses to a high level, hacking out, trot/canter/gallop conditioning training, jumping, cross country. Starting horses under saddle, riding and training young, green and nervous or sensitive horses. Understanding each horse's needs. Barefoot trimming, basic equine massage and bodywork, performing equine stretches. Developing structured training and fitness programs for horses.

Type of Ride Work
Ridden a wide variety of horses with experience in dressage to a high level, jumping, eventing/cross country, hacking out/trail riding, gallop and conditioning training. I have backed and broken in horses from scratch and have produced my own horse through to prix st george level dressage.
Competition Details
I have competed and still do regularly, in various scenes - dressage, eventing, showing and jumping, up to state level. I have worked at a show horse stable and a dressage stable as groom and stable hand.
