I am committed to pursuing a long-term career in the equine and veterinary industries and have planned further education to support this goal. In 2027, I intend to commence a Certificate II in Animal Care, followed by a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, with the aim of specialising in Equine Veterinary Nursing.

I have experience around horses through my aunt and grandmother, both of whom own horses and ponies. I have ridden their horses and regularly assisted with feeding, grooming, rugging, mucking out, leading, turnout, cleaning stables and yards, and carrying out general horse care duties. Through this experience, I have developed confidence handling horses on the ground and an understanding of daily horse management and welfare. I am also currently attending riding lessons at Jolong Park, where I continue to develop my riding skills, confidence, and overall horsemanship.

I have ridden horses and ponies recreationally and am currently taking regular riding lessons at Jolong Park. I am comfortable with basic flatwork and general riding and am eager to continue improving my riding ability and gain experience in different disciplines, particularly eventing and sport horses.
