Bio
I’m a 19-year-old rider from Austria looking to work at a stable abroad for 2–3 months. I love jumping, enjoy learning dressage, and have experience with daily stable work. I’m a quick learner, hardworking, and excited to learn new training methods.Qualifications
In Austria there are official riding exams called the “Rider Pass”, “Rider Badge” and 2 more, which test riding ability, and theoretical knowledge. I have completed both of these qualifications.
Duties of Current Occupation
Daily stable work: riding, feeding, mucking out, paddock turnout, grooming and tacking up. Experience with lunging, bandaging, assisting riding students. Some first experience working with young horses.
Equine Work Experience
~6 years of riding experience, with some competition experience. Comfortable handling sensitive horses and basic experience with young horses. Also interested in dressage and learning new training methods.
Type of Ride Work
I have a bit experience in both flatwork and jumping. While I enjoy jumping the most, I also regularly do flatwork and would like to continue improving my dressage skills. I also enjoy trail riding and working horses outside the arena. I am comfortable riding different types of horses, including sensitive and speedy ones, and have some basic experience working with young horses. I am always motivated to learn and improve my riding.
Competition Details
I have some competition experience myself, but also helped my friends a lot with their competitions. I am not a professional competition rider. I have also spent time helping in different stables, including some exposure to competition environments.
