Duties of Current Occupation
I have experience working as a veterinary assistant for a few months and spent one year caring for horses on a social farm. At present, I volunteer in animal-assisted therapy, providing therapeutic support with American Miniature Horses.
Equine Work Experience
I have experience caring for hospitalized horses in a veterinary clinic, as well as looking after horses on a social farm where they were used in therapy. I also grew up owning and caring for a Shetland pony, which gave me early, hands-on experience with horses.
Specialities
I have experience working with a wide variety of horses, from American Miniature Horses to cold-blooded farm horses. In addition, I counseled and supported people with disabilities in learning how to care for and work with horses.
