Equine Work Experience

Over 25 years; moving from showjumping, to long distance, modern pentachlon and dressage under the tutelage mainly of Michel Henriquet & the commandant de Padirac...but also Rainer Klimpke...to vaulting and circensic training with Cabailhorse, shortly Hasta Luego and for 10 years the Théatre équestre de Wattrelos where I created, trained and prepared several shows.

Specialities

Show designing, Natural Horsemanship (Parelli, Hempfling) a lot of young horses training for sale L/M level and a couple of Prix St Georges Horses. Although I am a firm believer of the "Old" Classical Dressage Methods ( I learned about the Oliveira methods at the age of 15 through Michel Henriquet) I also like the more forward Standard German Classical Dressage method. The most important though is to increase skills to a minimum of aids. Some para riders have major merit there.

Type of Ride Work

Back in Belgium

In classical Dressage and through breaking in my philosophy is a mix of influences. Podhajsky, Oliveira, Henriquet, Klimke but also K.F. Hempfling, Amaral, Luraschi, Lucien Gruss and even some cowboys...I pretty much learned a bit from everyone either through lecture, watching or working together.

Competition Details

won & placed several competitions between the age of 8 & 18 in Germany and Belgium.
