Equine Work Experience

I have been a show jumping rider for 18 years. During that time, I had the opportunity to work with and learn from César Almeida, a Brazilian Pan American rider, and Renato Junqueira, one of Brazil's most renowned riders in high-level jumping. I am also graduating in Veterinary Medicine this year. I am trained in equine first aid and am currently specializing in physiotherapy techniques involving neuromodulation, as well as animal welfare. In 2016, I moved to France to gain experience in the daily routine of a European riding yard and to further improve my riding skills. During that time, I learned all aspects of professional grooming, which differs in several ways from the practices commonly used in Brazil. I also studied horsemanship principles influenced by Clinton Anderson, expanded my knowledge of British riding techniques through my family's British background, and gained extensive experience training young horses.
