Equine Work Experience

I have ridden and worked with horses my entire life with my family. I have volunteered in any show circle that needs help during shows, I have also helped other competitors and trainers with any clean up or if they happen to need assistance (stall clean up, grooming, holding horses, etc.). I have helped set up and manage my communities horse shows as well. I have been helping in any equestrian event I am able since I was very young.

Specialities

I have lead a 4-H club as president for a few years. I would organize and lead activities like clinics and even activities with other clubs. through 4-H i have also had the opportunity to build and judge a trail class for a smaller club and was able to give productive feedback. I have interacted with foals before and have helped train two of my families personal horses from when they were born up until now.

Type of Ride Work

I mainly ride english with my personal horses, but I have also worked in the western field. I mostly compete and work on flatwork (english/hunter pleasure, equitation, horsemanship, western pleasure, trail). I have helped train young horses before and perfect their show skills, I have also worked with some green horses.

Competition Details

I have helped organized community competitions before. I have organized stalls, cleaned barns and put in gates/panels, maintained the working and show rings, helped keep people organized and make sure they get to their classes, set up obstacles for trail classes, and I have helped clean up the grounds after the show. I have gotten other peoples horses ready for them when they needed a hand and I always bring extras of everything in case people need it.
