Equine Work Experience
8 years on and off working for an A circuit hunter jumper stables, groomed at Kentucky Horse Park, Thunderbird, Caledon, Angelstone, the Royal, Capitol Challenge, and Devon. Groomed 4 Winter Equestrian Festival seasons, was at every ring from ponies, AAs, jumpers, equitation, medals to hunter derbies. 17 years riding english hunter jumpers, dressage and cross country. Working student for A circuit barn, exercised horses, equine first aid, feeding, grooming at shows. Ridden green and young horses. Handled foals, young horses and stallions. Assistant barn manager for stable of 30 horses during their busiest season. Most recently worked as a trekking guide in New Zealand guiding beginner to intermediate rides all day rides on the beaches and in the forests of the North Island.
Specialities
Graduate of Performance Horse Handler Certificate at University of Guelph.
Type of Ride Work
Hunter jumpers (up to 3'3), flat rider, equitation, cross country, basic dressage, and trail riding. 2 summer seasons trail riding in Banff National Park.
Competition Details
Schooling shows only with young horses, groomed at A circuit and provincial level shows. Hack rider for A shows.
