Qualifications

Since this is my first job, I would appreciate someone who will understand that I’m not perfect and someone who won’t yell at me for misunderstanding.

I’m very aware that I still have a really lot to learn, but I’m hard working, polite, open-minded and I’m happy to help wherever needed! I can work well alone or in a team.

Equine Work Experience

I’ve been around horses for 8 years. I currently have my own OTTB mare (won’t take her with me). I have ridden many different horses, from smaller ponies to big draft horses. From hot horses to not forward going ones. I only have a little experience with green horses. When I work with horses, I always try to be as gentle as possible and I always try to show the horse positive ways of training.

I can do flat work and a bit of show jumping (smaller jumps up to 1m, I’ve never jumped higher that this, but we can try) or just simply take horses for a trail ride! I have never tried “real” dressage, but I’m very willing and motivated to try it and learn as much as I can! I also tried a few western horses, but I'm definitely not as confident in western as I am in english (but that can also change with a little bit of practice).☺️

I’m also okay with handling all types of horses and I can also do stable work like feeding, blankets, turning out etc.

Type of Ride Work

I’m also open to working as a groom, even though I’ve never done that job before. I would really appreciate someone who coule show me how things are done at the beggining (for example, I’ve never clipped a horse before), but I learn quickly and I’m very motivated to get better every day.

My main motivation is to gain as much experience as I can and, if possible, take my riding to the next level or just improve in areas where I’m less experienced.🤩
