Hi! I’m Maria from Estonia 🌞 I love working with horses and have several years of riding experience. I’ve also worked as a camp assistant and junior instructor. I’m easy-going, reliable, and excited to find a fun, hands-on gap year job with horses.Qualifications

Duties of Current Occupation
Assisted with daily care of horses during riding camps. Supervised children and beginner riders around horses. Instructed beginner riders during lessons and activities. General yard help and basic stable duties.
Equine Work Experience
I grew up around horses and have been riding on and off throughout my life and have developed a good understanding of horse behaviour. I have experience riding daily, going to competitions and working in a riding camp.
Specialities
Experience working with younger horses. Confident handling horses on the ground, including bringing horses in and turning them out. Used to managing multiple horses during busy camp routines. Experience leading and supervising groups of younger riders and assisting in daily yard organisation.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden a variety of horses, including young and developing horses, older and experienced horses, ponies, larger horses, as well as calm horses and more forward-going and spicy horses. I have ridden flatwork and jumping. I am also comfortable riding in open spaces and on hacks, including fields.
Competition Details
I have not competed recently, but I have previous competition experience in show jumping. I have also assisted competitions both in the arena and as a groom.
