I do not have formal equine qualifications, but I have attended regular private and group lessons, participated in clinics, and follow online equine training courses. Combined with my extensive hands-on experience with my own horses over many years, I have developed strong practical skills and knowledge in horse management, training, and care.

Managed and cared for personal and leased horses (grooming, feeding, health monitoring). Trained and educated young horses from the ground up (handling, lunging, and basic ridden work). Maintained stable and tack cleanliness. Coordinated turnout.

I have over 15 years of horse riding and handling experience. After many years learning in a center, I got my first horse, a mare recovering from convalescence and then worked with several different horses through part-leases, including Thoroughbreds with very different temperaments. Since 2023, I have been the owner and trainer of my current mare, that I have educated entirely from the ground up since she was 2 years old. This has included all aspects of horse management, groundwork, ridden work, and building a strong trust-based relationship.

I have experience with young horses (2-6 years old) and starting them under saddle. Skilled in groundwork, lunging, and desensitization exercises (Horsemanship). Handled turnout for groups of 2 to 6 horses a couple times a week.

I have experience with ex-racehorses (Thoroughbreds) and enjoy extensive riding and groundwork, both in-hand and under saddle. My skills include basic groundwork, lunging, long-reining, desensitization, and mountain trail traini. I focus heavily on horsemanship principles and have a background in show jumping, having competed over courses up to 1m. Currently, I concentrate on flatwork with my mare, allowing her to grow and develop at her own pace, while continuing to build trust.

I have very limited competition experience, having only participated in a few internal events, as I did not have a horse ready for competition. I hope to start competing with my mare when she is fully prepared physically and mentally.
