Bio
Engineering apprentice and project manager, passionate about equestrian sport (Eventing/Dressage/CSO). Seeking an English-speaking stable internship from July to combine daily horse care, riding, and operational improvements.Qualifications
Engineering school student (currently engineering apprentice and project manager). Holds a BUT GMP (Bachelor Universitaire de Technologie en Génie Mécanique et Productique), which is the French equivalent of a Higher National Diploma (HND) / Bachelor in Mechanical and Production Engineering. Holds the French Galop 5 riding certification for many years, and currently working towards obtaining Galop 6 and 7.
Duties of Current Occupation
Engineering apprentice and project manager (bringing methodology, organization, and process optimization). Alongside this, passionate and hands-on equestrian, autonomous in daily stable management, horse care, and handling.
Equine Work Experience
Extensive practical experience acquired through voluntary work in a ranch during every school holiday, involving daily horse care, stable maintenance, and horse handling (both mounted and on the ground). Currently riding on a regular part-loan basis, including one with an ex-hurdle-racer, focusing on autonomous riding and daily horse training.
Specialities
Experience working with diverse horses both on the ground and mounted (including handling, groundwork, backing, and starting young horses), as well as OTTBs (reformed racehorses) and schoolmasters. Strong organizational skills, analytical mindset, and ability to provide a structured approach to stable and material management.
Type of Ride Work
Flatwork, showjumping, and hacking. Experienced in riding and training diverse horses (young horses, sport horses, and schoolmasters) with a solid level of autonomy and safety in the saddle.
