- I am taking a gap year, so I am available to begin immediately and am happy to commit for the next few months. I am looking for any type of work, internship, etc to gain experience away from home. Considering all countries other than Germany.
Qualifications
I have the 'Deutsches Reitabzeichen 4' / 'German riding badge 4‘ for both dressage and jumping which I guess is similar to being allowed to compete at Elementary level in England.
Documents
Duties of Current Occupation
My family owns 4 four ponies which we take care of by ourselves. This means I am known to daily yard work, tun out, clipping, etc. I am used to the responsibility that comes with working with animals of any kind.
Equine Work Experience
I grew up with horses, got my first pony when I was six and have ridden almost daily. Since an injury in 2023 I haven't been riding permanently. During school I spend two terms at Stonar School with an Equestrian centre in Wiltshire, England where I cared for two different loan horses.
Specialities
I am open to work with any breed of horses and ponies. I haven't recently worked with foals but I trained at a stood with yearling and younger horses, so know how to handle them.
Type of Ride Work
I used to be a confident rider as I have ridden young horses, rather 'cheeky' ponies and sport horses before. I competed in dressage, jumping, eventing and I competed Mounted Games in Germany and on international level. Due to a knee injury I haven’t been training professionally for a while and have to be clear that I won’t have the same abilities right now. Still I would be more than happy and am dedicated to pick the sport up again.
Competition Details
I competed in all disciplines with my ponies. I competed in Mounted Games and represented Team Germany at European Championship in 2021.
