I hold a CertHE in Equine Management and have developed practical experience through both my studies and hands-on roles in the equine industry. My experience includes riding, exercising, grooming, handling young horses, caring for broodmares, working on racing yards, and supporting the daily management of horses in a variety of settings.

I am particularly confident in horse care, stable management, turnout routines, welfare monitoring, and maintaining high standards of yard organisation. Living and working independently in a sole-charge role taught me responsibility, initiative, and the importance of consistency in animal care.

Alongside my equine experience, I have worked in leadership-focused roles and enjoy working with both people and horses. I am hardworking, organised, calm under pressure, and always eager to learn. My goal is to continue building a long-term career within the equine industry while contributing positively to a professional yard.

CertHE Equine Management graduate with experience handling young horses, broodmares and a variety of horse types. Experienced in sole-charge yard management, maintaining high standards of horse care, organisation and yard presentation. Confident exercising, grooming, turnout, feeding and monitoring horse welfare. I have experience riding a variety of horses, including young horses and racehorses on the gallops. During my CertHE in Equine Management, I passed equitation assessments in both flatwork and jumping and particularly enjoyed cross-country riding. While I am capable of jumping, my current preference is for flatwork, schooling, hacking and ridden exercise work. I enjoy developing horses through consistent, correct flatwork and am confident riding a range of temperaments and experience levels.

While I have not worked in a competition yard or as a competition groom, my experience has given me a strong foundation in horse care, grooming, fitness management, turnout, and daily yard routines. I am highly organised, calm under pressure, and attentive to detail, and I would welcome the opportunity to develop competition yard experience. I am a quick learner, enjoy taking on new challenges, and am committed to maintaining high standards of horse welfare and presentation.
