Track work rider, groom and other stable duties

I have over 4 years of hands-on experience working with thoroughbred racehorses in a professional racing yard in India. My experience covers all aspects of daily yard and stable work, including handling, grooming, mucking out, bedding, tacking up, feeding, watering and maintaining clean, safe stables. I have practical knowledge of preparing feed, following individual feeding routines and monitoring horses’ appetite, behaviour and general condition. I am experienced in daily horse care, including checking legs, feet, skin, coat, body condition and identifying any changes in health or behaviour that may require attention. I regularly handle racehorses before and after exercise, assist with bathing, cooling down and recovery, and maintain equipment and stable areas. I have extensive riding experience, including trackwork, cantering, breezing and working racehorses according to trainer instructions. I understand the importance of fitness, discipline, safety and correct horse handling.

Flatwork racing – 4+ years of experience riding Thoroughbred racehorses, including daily trackwork, cantering, conditioning and fitness work. Experienced with racehorses at different stages of training and preparation for racing.
