I’m qualified AI tech but would love to gain more experience.

I have gained experience while holding a groom position for an extremely busy Stud Farm. Working with young horses, mares and foals and stallions throughout my day. Duties included mucking out, feeding and I was responsible for giving medication.

I have always had a keen interest in all things horses. I’ve recently worked on a 1.3 million acre cattle farm in Australia where I worked with horses. This involved tacking up horses for long days ahead. Also feeding and maintaining the horses overall health. I worked as a groom at a Stud Farm where I worked with young horses, mares and foals, and stallions. I gained lots of knowledge and an expanded my understanding of the horse while I held this position. I helped when our horses competed in shows. I’ve helped the vet with scanning mares, procedures such as caslicks and giving medication. I also help when the farrier and dentist are needed.

Working with young horses, preparing them for shows and riding lessons. Also handling of foals.

I began learning English riding, but I have progressed onto riding Western. Im currently an intern on a ranch in South Dakota where I ride a lot here. Whether chasing down cows or trailing them to different pastures, I’ve gained lots of experience riding here. I also had the privilege of taking part a show where I took part in the halter class, trail class, ranch riding and horsemanship classes.

I competed in a Horsemanship show. Showing my mare we came 4th in the halter class. I also took part in the trail, ranch riding and horsemanship classes.
