Duties of Current Occupation
Currently working as a horse handler at Strides Therapy Clinic, in Cork. My main duties include all yard duties (mucking out, grooming etc) as well as leading the horses for therapy sessions.
Equine Work Experience
I have been riding since the age of two. Worked with horses of all ages and abilities, from training a youngster who had only recently been backed to school ponies and competeing dressage horses. I have a Module 1,2, and 3 EQUASA/SANEF qualification. BHS Stage 1 and 2, Ride Safe, Ride Trek Leader qualifications I have worked at a few shows and different yards as part of my practical experience for my EQUASA/SANEF qualification. Many hours of practical experience at one of the busiest riding schools in England (Trent Park Equestrian Center), including teaching, mucking out, turn out etc.
Specialities
I have worked closely with, and on occasion given lessons to, children with mental and physical disabilities at an equine therapy yard.

I have not competed in many years due to not having a horse to compete on.
