Currently studying a Level 8 Equine Science degree in the University of Limerick

Currently studying Equine Science in the University of Limerick. Learning a lot about horses and the management and training aspects of the horse industry.

Worked in a riding school from 2015 until 2018. My duties included mucking out, turning out and exercising horses. Currently getting a bit of experience schooling horses in my college course. I have also completed 2 months of college placement in Coolmore Stud farm on one of their foaling units and a further 6 months on Castlehyde Stud in their mare and foal unit.

Recently worked in a team to produce a young horse and sell it at Goffs. The team had to decide on the feeding, training and advertising of this young horse. A lot of group work is practiced in my course so my teamwork skills are constantly improving. Every week undergo a lesson in the riding aspect of horse riding in my course, constantly improving my aids and ability to communicate effectively from the saddle.

I have a little experience riding problem horses but haven't done much in the last few years. I have ridden flatwork and jumping but neither at a very high level.

Currently have no experience with competitions.
