My qualifications blend high-level practical horsemanship with advanced academic training. I have successfully completed my Pony Club exams and hold a Level 5 A.I.R.E. certification, which gives me a strong, certified foundation in stable management, safety, and equitation. Currently, I am studying veterinary medicine. This ongoing degree deeply enhances my understanding of equine health, anatomy, and welfare, allowing me to bring a highly knowledgeable, medical perspective to daily yard care.

Duties of Current Occupation
8 yrs exp in high-standard yards. Fed to requirements, cleaned troughs, groomed & cleaned tack. Exercised 2-9 horses daily (racing, dressage, eventing, SJ). Produced own horse; skilled at starting young horses slowly, gradually & safely.
Equine Work Experience
I bring over 8 years of diverse equine experience across both racing and sports yards. A confident and resilient rider, I have exercised anywhere from 2 to 9 horses a day across disciplines like dressage, showjumping, and eventing. Six years of hunting with the Galtee Foxhounds over tough drains, ditches, and hedges gave me a secure seat and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
My true passion lies in producing young horses; I backed and trained my own 3-year-old into a confident gelding jumping 1.10m, later sold at the prestigious Goresbridge Sales. I have ridden everything from RDS showjumpers and 3-star eventers to strong, difficult horses. I have also trained in dressage to a novice standard, firmly believing it is the basis of all good training. I adapt quickly to any horse to get the best out of them.
Specialities
I offer 8 years of equestrian experience, riding an array of horses across disciplines and earning my Level 5 A.I.R.E. alongside my Pony Club training. A confident, resilient rider, 6 years hunting with the Galtee Foxhounds has taught me to thrive in high-pressure situations. My true passion is producing young horses; I backed and trained my own 3yo into an extremely confident gelding jumping 1.10m comfortably, before successfully selling him at the prestigious Goresbridge Sales.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden a vast array of horses and ponies, adapting to diverse characteristics to become a strong, versatile rider. My experience spans from high-performance showjumpers that competed at the RDS and 3-star eventers, to strong, difficult hunting horses crossing drains, ditches, and hedges. I have also trained in dressage to a novice standard, firmly believing dressage is the basis of everything. Adapting to each unique horse has made me the capable, confident rider I am today.
Competition Details
While I haven't competed myself yet—as I am waiting for the right opportunity—I have valuable experience working on a semi-competitive yard. Managing a mix of livery and horses competing at various levels gave me first hand insight into everything competition entails. I am fully capable of preparing a horse for a show, from ensuring immaculate tack to supporting the physical and mental preparation of both horse and rider so they can perform at their best.
