Duties of Current Occupation
I have had lots of different roles in my working life, and would be happy to vhat to you about them in person or over the phone.
Equine Work Experience
Started riding school age 3 ish. Rode ponies in showing, jumping, and hunting classes. Groomed and assisted until age 17 for my mother in her amateur showjumping career. Brought ponies back into work for various owners over the years. Most recently, worked as a trekking guide in Andalusia, until the heat got too much for me!
Specialities
Have some (limited) experience with foals, broodmares and stallions, from my time as a teenager working with Larry Dunne. I am a very good trekking guide, good with people, and am not easily stressed.
Type of Ride Work
Irish sport horses for flatwork and amateur showjumping (up to 1m20. More recently Andalusian and Arabian horses for trekking and endurance
Competition Details
My mother competed in SJAI at Amateur level, and I grew up assisting and grooming for her. I also competed, but not seriously. I mostly enjoy working with the horses.
