Duties of Current Occupation
Yard manager in a private livery yard, I am Currently riding out on a number of racing yards approx 5/6 mornings a week
Equine Work Experience
I have been involved with horses since the age of six, gaining extensive experience in riding, horse care, stable management, working with a variety of horses, including thoroughbreds and riding out 5/6 mornings a week. I have experience riding Thoroughbreds and managing a yard, including organising daily routines, feeding, mucking out, turnout, exercising and maintaining a safe and well-run environment. I am particularly interested in progressing into racing and developing my skills with racehorses leading towards my jockey’s licence.
Type of Ride Work
I have experience riding and exercising race horses, schooling horses on the flat, jumping and training/backing young horses. I also have previous extensive experience in showjumping.
