Currently working out of Newtown Stud, a harness racing facility, as a groom, general yard duties, feeding, turnout, exercising horses, breaking in young horses, handling youngstock, travelling horses on raceday, tacking, washing walking

I own a dun cob mare an American miniature show horse, two thoroughbreds, a standardbred colt and have started in the last few years to do showing in racehorse to riding horse classes, in hand with the mini and prelim dressage with the dun, so lots of experience with very different types, temparments and in different disciplines. I worked for a few months in a local dressage yard and have worked in Calliaghstown Equestrian as an assistant instructor/part time manager in the past, I also worked as yard cover in cherry orchard equine centre. I obtained my stage 1, riding and road safety and parts of stage two in calliaghstown, teaching was not an option for stage 2 at the time although I still completed a year of training upto stage 3 level

Exercise, lunging, grooming to a show standard, have groomed for BHS Examinations in an Aire approved yard for stages 1-3, basic equine first aid, good communication skills, general yard duties, sole charge, experience with starting youngstock and handling mares and foals.

Mostly flatwork. Working on getting the horse to engage the hind and lift the core to ride supple into the contact without force. Have done jumping and xcountry for fun however it would not be my strong point but something I would love to work on

DI Prelim dressage with my tbs and mare, often scoring around 65-67% showing classes in Killosary have came first twice and third once, I’ve done flavours , mullingar ag show and placed 6th in the ridden , some training shows, I go racing regularly so used to getting them ready to travel, grooming, tacking loading, unloading. I can jog / workout horses at home but have not drove them in the races, owned and trained a French trotter and she was never out of first 3 always picked up a cheque
