Duties of Current Occupation
Daily duties include riding out 5 lots a morning, general yard duties feeding, mucking out, getting horses ready an loaded for racing, brushing all horses I’m responsible for every evening, putting horses on the walker, ensuring my barns is clean
Equine Work Experience
ive worked in racing yards for the last 6 years, 2019/2029 I went to race academy ireland where i graduated on the trainee jockey course. In august 2020 till August 2021 I rode out in Jessica Harringtons for a year. I then worked in a show jumping yard in Netherlands for 3 months back in 2021. In 2022 I went back and worked in Jessica Harringtons for 2 years as a stable hand. Then I worked in Bert House Stud to learn to handle foals and mares in foal for 10 months.
Specialities
I look after up to 12 horses in my barn on a daily basis. I lead up at racing days and always have my horses turned out perfectly. I work great on my own or in a team. I also liked to help doing the stalls in the yard bringing horses into the stalls or being on the gates.
