Duties of Current Occupation

I’ve worked with Godolphin as a stud hand for 3+ years doing all general yard duties such as mucking out, blowing, feeding, turning out, bringing in, holding for the vet and farrier, etc.

Equine Work Experience

I have worked with Godolphin for 3+ years now as a stud hand. I really do have a passion for working with horses, in particular the mares and foals and the weanlings, I love the personalities and how different each day can be with the different range of horses.

I do have basic riding experience with riding schools and from my Level 5 & 6 courses.

Specialities

I’ve worked with everything from riding school ponies to nurse mares, teaser ponies, yearlings, barren and pregnant mares, weanlings and mares and foals.

While I’ve worked with different horses, I’ve mostly worked with mares and foals and then weanlings while working with Godolphin. I have some foaling experience and my Level 6 in Equine Breeding but would love more foaling experience!

I am a stud hand but have competently run a yard on the weekends the foreperson is off.

Type of Ride Work

My riding experience is basic and consists of arena work and out of arena work, I’ve done flat work, jumping (up to 1m), cross country, charity rides and hunting. I’ve comfortably ridden all ages, shapes and sizes of horses and ponies.
