I have been working with horses since 2020. I do online school, so my hours are very flexible. I have been asked by the manager of my stables to supervise other volunteers. I have ridden different variants of horses, and have jumped 1.05mDocuments
Duties of Current Occupation
-Supervised stable volunteers when asked. -Asked to ride new, misbehaving, and young horses. -Jumped up to 1.05m. -Assisted in helping others groom and tack up for competition. -Bring in horses, groom and tack up, muck out stables and arena
Equine Work Experience
Mosstown Stables Volunteer and Rider since 2020 -assisted kids age 5 to 15 years old (including special needs kids) in helping with horseback skills -bring in horses, tack and groom horses, muck out, help set up arena jumps for training and competitions, ride new and/or misbehaving horses, supervised other volunteers when asked, jumped up to 1.05m. -Assisted in grooming and tacking up horses for competition.
