I have over five years of hands-on equine experience working in a horse rescue centre, where I helped care for and rehabilitate abandoned, neglected, and abused horses. This has given me strong experience with nervous, difficult, and vulnerable horses, as well as daily yard duties, handling, grooming, feeding, mucking out, and building trust through patient, consistent care. I also own my own horse, have experience breaking in young horses, and am an experienced rider confident in a range of situations. In addition, I have worked in a veterinary setting with horses, giving me further practical knowledge of equine care, welfare, and handling in a professional environment.
