My name is Aimee, I am 18 years old from Wexford. I have many years experience with horses from breeding to breaking to showing. I am very competent, outgoing and love a challenge and adventure. All enquiries: acollins3438@gmail.com 0851201339Duties of Current Occupation
Feeding, bedding, grooming & tacking 9-10 horses each morning. Leading & sidewalking lessons. Handling, starting & backing young horses/ponies. Grooming horses for different shows, events & sales. Schooling young/difficult horses&ponies.
Specialities
I have broken & produced my own stallion, bred my own foal and am in the process of breaking her in. I have previous experience in working with young stallions as well as weaning foals and teaching them to be lead. Currently I help lead a team of 4 younger volunteers, I delegate lessons and create schedules of which horses are to be used based on age, ability and temperament of both horse and human. I ensure that all chores are completed to a high standard each day and all animals are cared for.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden many different horses from 12.2 to 18.3, I mainly showjump however i regularly hunt throughout the winter and often take horses to school over ditches & drains.
Competition Details
I have competed up to 1m in interschools on my own pony as well as doing catch rides. I compete semi-regularly in showjumping.
