Duties of Current Occupation
I am a full time college student, attending TU Dublin from 2022-2026.
Equine Work Experience
I have worked since I was 14 within different yards across Ireland, England and Germany. I excelled in the management of top dressage yards, but have also found my footing within eventing and racing yards.
Specialities
I have mainly worked on the schooling and sales on top competition horses, from the breaking to the competing at national and international level in all disciplines, including dressage at Hickstead and eventing in Tattersalls. I have worked with the breaking and schooling of yearlings to become flat race horses, some selling internationally. I have been head competition groom, leading a team of 3 grooms for 8 top dressage horses, competing internationally, including venues such as Hickstead.
Type of Ride Work
I have focused mainly on dressage, riding top horses from countries such as Germany and Italy, but have recently found my footing in racing yards, riding yearlings, preparing them for breeze up sales. I have showjumped and evented to high levels with many different horses, schooling young horses up the levels. I am not a nervous rider and would always be up to try out anything new.
Competition Details
I have competed to Advanced Medium level at dressage, obtaining my placing on the Irish Junior High Performance team. I have showjumped to 1.20mt, including Spring tours, young horse events, as well as qualifying for the Junior Rider equation in the RDS, which was sadly cancelled due to Covid. I have evented to EI90P and EI110, landing top 5 placings in venues such as Ballindenisk. I have also brought many young horses to Stepping Stones, RDS qualifiers etc, showing their true potential.
