Duties of Current Occupation
Capable of all aspects of looking after horses- feeding ,grooming, mucking out etc. Experienced national and international show groom from weeks at Cavan to Mullingar International etc. Can plait, lunge, tack up etc. Happy to be left sole charge
Equine Work Experience
I previously working in a trekking/hunting yard where I would ride out and get horses ready to show clients but unfortunately this has since closed due to covid. I have worked as a groom up in Loughan Stables where I would feed, muck out in morning and then tack and untack horses throughout the day and do some lunging. We would have clients come to look at horses where I would turn them out to their best Have plenty experience at shows
Specialities
Capable of all aspects of looking after equines- feeding, grooming, mucking out etc. Love a clean yard and a tidy tackroom! I work well independently and as a team and I am willing to learn! Have driving licence Experienced Show Groom
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden a variety of horses from ish to id to cobs. I have been hunting with the Grallagh Harriers, the Galway Blazers, the North Galway's and the Connaught Drag Hunt. I have experience bringing on young horses to hunt, showjump etc. I have showjumped up to 1m but would like to progress more in this area
