Duties of Current Occupation
I have worked with and ridden horses my whole life. I am hard working, calm under pressure and always kind and patient with horses (and people of course!). I'm a flexible team player and always happy to learn from others and expand my horizons.
Equine Work Experience
- Riding lessons since I was 5
- 4 years of dressage training with FEI trainer
- 2 years natural horsemanship training
- Working in stables/taking care of horses my whole life (grooming, feeding, basic medical care, tacking up, plaiting and grooming for competitions, washing, turning out etc)
- Experienced in ground work (dressage and natural horsemanship), lunging, long reining, double lunge
- Trained up to M/S level dressage
- Trained young horses under supervision, also problem ponies!
- Extensive experience riding outside/in the bush in all weather and terrain
Competition Details
- Competed up to elementary level dressage on young horses
- Assisted with grooming, warming up/cooling down, lunging, plaiting, logistics etc for professional dressage riders
