- Head groom/Manager position. (no shows Running day by day. Small/own stable (7/15 horses). Small team. Proffesional stable/riders. All round work. English speaking farm. Private accommodation. No work with children! Possibility to bring cat.
Qualifications
Worked in The USA, Norway, Belgium, Holland, Australia and Germany. Experience mainly in showjumping but also worked with/in dressage, sulky trotters, thoroughbred horses, Friesian horse stable, campdraft, ridingschool, and a trading/sales stable. Have a certificate senior secondary vocational education from the AOC de groene welle. Qualification: skilled worker horsefarm level 3 and around 10 years of work experience. English and Dutch speaking.
Duties of Current Occupation
Manager. Head Groom (home/competition). Stableworker. Farm maintenance. Tractor driver and operating some machinery. Foal watcher. Basic training youngstock/ difficult horses.
Equine Work Experience
Manager. Groom home/competition/head. Clipping . Braiding yes but no plaiting ore showbraiding. Trim/pull. Bathing . Bandaging. Tacking/untacking. Setting jumps. Loading/unloading horses. Blanketing. Feeding etc. Giving medicine (No needle shots IM ore IV). All round work. Cleaning tack. Putting horses on/off walker. Lunging also with a Pessoa lunging rig. Assisting:Vet, Farrier, clients, customers, boss/rider. Competitions (hunter and jumper). Packing trailer for horse shows. Setting up at horse shows. Basis training foals. Experience driving a tractor. Operating: Front loader, fork, manure spreader, seeder, blade/box scraper, chain harrow, slasher. Heavy Truck licence category C + CE+ code 95 + lifetime certificate driving with livestock. Mowing: Push mower, riding lawn mower and a weed whacker. Hire and train new employees. Auctions :Setting up at auctions, Leading foals/ yearling and mares for potential buyers and into the ring, grooming.
