Duties of Current Occupation
Currently, I am a student Bsc Econometrics and Operations Research in Groningen, the Netherlands. On the weekends I train young horses at my parents' house. Looking for a temporary job for the summer where riding and grooming are the main tasks.
Equine Work Experience
I’ve gathered experience from training over 10 different ponies/horses of our own, varying from young and unexperienced to more experienced, where each and every one of them required a different style of riding. Therefore, I believe this gave me the opportunity to be able to adapt to a horse and become a very versatile rider. Nonetheless, I think my natural style suits the more sensitive horses best, as I am very patient and gentle as a rider.
Specialities
I believe my specialty is riding horses in a calm, patient way, giving them the opportunity to relax and be in the right mindset.
Type of Ride Work
Training showjumping, eventing, and young horses.
Competition Details
The level has varied from beginner levels with green horses/ponies to international levels (with horses/ponies I trained to that level myself). Showjumping (international): 1.20m classes for ponies and 1.30m classes for horses. Eventing: Second to highest national level.
