Bio
Grew up with tourists and horses and over the years, I have explored many different paths with both groups. Both literally and figuratively. Searching for a beautiful spot somewhere to work hard and create memories with horses and humans.

Equine Work Experience

I have done and experienced so much with horses that I could fill books with it. I have ridden the most beautiful horses and, as a writer, reporter and photographer, have had the privilege of talking and working with the most extraordinary horse people in the most beautiful places. But of all those people, words and experiences, it is the words of my grandfather – a man who was phenomenal with every horse – that have proved most valuable to me: Only when you can respect, appreciate and admire a horse without it having to do anything for you can you ask for its dedication to the work with love, calm and respect. For the past two years I have been working in another wonderful sector, tourism, but I now miss the daily contact with horses.

Specialities

I have worked with stallions, mares and foals, as well as with groups of young horses in training. I have managed teams in various sectors and at different stables. Much of this work has taken place at riding schools and in conjunction with holiday camps for children in various locations across Europe.

Type of Ride Work

Pretty much all types of horses, but mainly show jumpers, and a lot of trekking with Quarter Horses, Quarabs and other easy-going long-distance breeds.
