Equine Work Experience
I have been riding for 25 years and have owned my own horses for 20 years. I have been through the grades of showing, showjumping, games and eventing with my six horses. I have sat my D, C, C+ and B certificates through Pony Club and have comprehensive knowledge of horse first aid. I have also done seasonal yearling prep work with young standardbreds for sales. In this job I have also had experience with breeding via AI, handling foals and monitoring pregnant mares. I am also a competent endurance rider. I also have been Pony Club head coach for my local club since 2020. I enjoy working with the children and ensuring they get the best coaching possible and I personally favour coaching horse mastership up to H level. I am also working towards becoming an examiner for C/C+ certificates.

Type of Ride Work
I mainly do eventing, show jumping, endurance and schooling. I have experience handling yearlings and young sport horses. I event during winter with the Pony Club season and a small amount with the ESNZ season. I also do a lot of dressage schooling, as well as some showing and hacking out. I am an open endurance rider and I am currently training my own Arab to open level and open showing. I am also FEI registered. I have also been lucky enough to have a small polo introduction.
Competition Details
Competently competing two horses; one to 1m showjumping and 80cm eventing along with showing, the second is my endurance horse who is training towards being an open horse and competing open show classes. I am historically FEI and ESNZ registered. I have worked as a working student and a competition groom.
