Bio
I have been riding for 15 years on a wide range of horses and ponies, currently competing up to 130cm show jumping and have experience in a wide range of disciplines and have produced multiple young horses.Duties of Current Occupation
I have worked on a stud assisting vets with scanning and foal care, prepping and turning out yearlings for Karaka sales and assisted with weaning and branding foals as well as monitoring and caring for a large number of horses.
Equine Work Experience
I have owned horses my whole live taking care of their everyday needs I know how to currently feed based on weight and work. I can barefoot trim correctly.
Specialities
I have feed and looked after orphan foals and assisted in transferring them onto a new mare. I know what to look for in sick and injured equine's and am able to treat miner issues. I have held mares for serves and have experience leading and handling stallions. I can turn horses out to a high standard and can plait. I have schooled a range of green horses and have lots of experience led training/ handling young stock.
Type of Ride Work
I have helped brake in and school young horses. I have competitively show jumped up to 130cm and can confidently jump up to 140cm, am happy to go high if horses are capable.
Competition Details
I have competed in a wide range of disciplines including showjumping up to 130cm as well as show hunter, working hunter, hunter jumping, equitation, eventing, dressage and mounted games. I look after and turn all my own horses out to a high level at shows and feel I would be able to do the same for someone else’s team as a groom.
