6 months working experience at local folkehøgskule (college) where they have 35 horses. Half a year as a sole charge groom for 8 horses (4 heavy horses, ex-racer, 2 warmbloods and a pony) in Scotland, pastured year round.

Studying Equine Business Management at Aeres University of Applied Science, The Netherlands

Equine Work Experience

Experienced rider with 18 years under the belt. Dressage level somewhere between Novice and Elementary, showjumping up to 1.10 meters. Some competition experience, but only on friendly level. Have had loan horses the past 13 years, and have worked with just about all types of horses; small, large, foals, the positively ancient. Some experience with stallions and schooling of young jumpers. Some experience with reschooling of ex-racers, also worked with trotters. Have worked with Icelandic horses, able to show the tolt. Spent the last eleven mainly hacking through mountains, so errors have undoubtedly slipped into riding style. Have worked as stablehelp before, also worked as a groom in Scotland for six months.

Specialities

Hard-working and focused, strict but fair riding style. Gentle hands, confident. Showjumping, cross-country, advanced flatwork. Fluent in English, Dutch and Norwegian, speak German as well. Basic French knowledge, reading mainly.
