Many transferable skills learnt from three thriving careers, fast learner, enjoy physical labor, love horses🐴 & dogs, (my first date with my wife of 23 years was horse riding) & good with people. I've ridden Problem horses, Polo pony at a Springbok ( South African) polo players farm. On his private polo field. One of the scariest experiences ever on a horse. I think he secretly wanted me to experience what riding a polo pony without any Polo experience would be like. They thoroughly enjoyed watching me for a good few minutes before teaching me the Polo methods.😁

I've been to a few competitions with the owners & trainers but only as a friend / spectator. Competition Highlight Durban July. I am not sure if I watched in 1989 won by Right Prerogative, or if it was 1991 Flaming Rock. Needless to say a memorable experience. I was born and raised in the city of Johannesburg so I had very little exposure to horses growing up. The first time I ever touched a horse I was in awe. Secretly admired those blessed few that grew up around horses. Well never too late.
