Duties of Current Occupation
Daily horse care related to ownership and riding: feeding routines, grooming, tacking up, blanketing, turnout management, basic stable tasks and assisting with general yard routines when needed.
Equine Work Experience
I have been involved with horses for many years. I started riding in 2009 and remained active until 2015, mainly focused on jumping. In 2023, I returned to the equestrian world with a more mature and welfare-focused mindset. Since returning, I have gained solid experience through horse ownership, being actively involved in daily care, handling, riding and rehabilitation processes. Over the past year, my focus has shifted towards developing a more natural, conscious horsemanship approach, prioritising communication, groundwork awareness and correct progression.
Specialities
Experience mainly with adult horses, and more recently with young horses as well. Comfortable handling horses on the ground and under saddle. No formal team leadership, but used to working independently and supporting others when needed. Familiar with regular turnout routines and basic stable organisation.
Type of Ride Work
Jumping (main focus from 2009–2015). More recently focusing on flatwork, groundwork and developing a more natural horsemanship-based approach.
Competition Details
Experience as a self-groom during competitions. Also assisted my instructor and riding school during competition days, supporting horse preparation, basic grooming and organisation before and after classes.
