Duties of Current Occupation
I work at a local riding school as a stand-in yard manager and riding instructor, where I teach all levels of riding to both children and adults, and well as guide trail rides. We offer individual as well as group riding lessons and trail rides.
Equine Work Experience
I have been around horses my entire life, having grown up opposite a riding yard and starting to ride pretty much as soon as I could walk. I also trained in Showjumping, some Cross Country and a little Dressage.
Beginning of the year, I started working in the equine industry again, working at a local riding school as a stand-in yard manager and riding instructor, where I teach all levels of riding to both children and adults, and well as guide trail rides.
I also compete in Show Jumping competition and have attended a short Endurance ride.
Type of Ride Work
Thoroughbreds, Friesians and Mixed breed Ponies. In flatwork, showjumping, trekking/trail rides.
Competition Details
While our yard is not a highly competitive yard, we do attend the small location shows with our students. I also compete in these shows.
