Completed the Student Program at the South African Lipizzaners First Aid Level 1

I am currently a Stable Manager for Millfield School in the UK. I was previously a Stable Manager and Assistant Health Manager for one of South Africa's most prestigious Showjumping yards. My responsibilities are broad in content.

I have been working with horses for 20 years. I was with the SA Lipizzaners for 6 years where I worked with 33 stallions. Ranging from colts that have just come off the farm for backing to our centres most prestigious schoolmasters. I am able to train up to Advance level in Dressage, ride in Side Saddle and have experience with Work in Hand as well as the "Airs Above the Ground" being piaffe, courbette, capriole, levade and pesade. I am able to give lunge lessons and long rein horses. I can instruct group lessons and private lessons.

I have received instruction from one of South Africa's top riders and also yearly training from a Spanish Riding School Rider.

I currently have 35 horses in my care; ranging from just backed, high level competition and retirees. I manage 12 staff members, liaise with higher management and as well as service providers.

Working with stallions. Backing and Schooling of horses. Instructing pupils. Work in Hand (Piaffe, Coubette, Capriole, Levade and Pesade). Long reining. Managerial tasks. Planning and organising events. Structuring monthly meetings. Communication with internal and external people. Team leader.

Dressage Side Saddle Hacking

I have competed up to Dressage Advanced level in Adults with the South African Lipizzaners as well as helped organise and coordinate their events for public displays.

I am currently working in an Open level showjumping yard.
