Horse Handling Certification - Mooikrans Equus, South Africa. This course entailed establishing a strong foundation covering Western Horsemanship and various aspects of it, from tack, turnout, cattle herding, wrangling, group leading and trekking.

BA Motion Picture Medium (AFDA) - I have an Honours degree in film making, and would love a role where doing photography or social media for a yard is an option.

I take a wide variety of horses on outrides to maintain their fitness levels - this includes walking, trotting, cantering and galloping, and crossing different types of terrain. I also lunge, groom and do flatwork. I enjoy it all!

• I have had ranch training and can herd cattle and manage large groups of horses and riders. This course was done through Mooikrans Equus, Mpumalanga.
• I have worked as a tour guide, taking guests through the bush, across beaches and farmlands. I was also tasked with riding the greener horses and working with them until they were suitable for guests to ride safely. This was done through Horse Beach Rides, Durban.
• I ride sport horses to maintain their physical fitness levels by taking them on outrides. I have been doing this part-time for 5 years for a few local yards in Summerveld, South Africa.

I am a gentle rider who puts the well-being of the horse first. I mainly have experience in English riding, but have Western riding experience too. I am confident managing small groups on guided rides, and can manage stressful situations calmly with a level-head. Due to my experience in teaching at university and online, I am a capable leader and facilitator.

I have focused mainly on flatwork and desensitisation, predominantly farm riding and outrides. I have experience in Boerperd and American Saddlebred showing, as well as general English showing.

I have competed in local shows on client's horses at Boerperd and American Saddlebred shows.
