Equine Work Experience
I have had experience with a lot of different types of riding because I competed in SANESA. But the one type of riding that I have the most experience with is Show Jumping. I do know a little bit about western riding. I have cleaned stables, camps, waterbuckets, blancets, grooming kits as well as tack. I have done all the everything that goes with being an equestrian. I have helped breaking in a few horses and delt with a lot of difficult horses. I trained my previous horse with help from my former instructor. I have bathed horses and preparing them for shows. I trimmed and plated their mane and tail but never clipped a horse. I have had lessons by Clair Dicey (a Professional Dressage instructor) and by Damien (a Professional Show Jumping instructor). For the last 3+ years I've been working as an Assistant Manager & Coach at a riding school/livery yard where we look after 32 horses & ponies of all sizes & ages.
