Qualifications

In Spain, I have completed the ‘Galopes’ from the Royal Spanish Equestrian Federation (RFHE), official certifications validating practical and theoretical skills in horse handling, care, riding, and competition preparation. The Galopes are comparable to BHS exams used in other countries to certify riders’ training and competence.

Duties of Current Occupation

Comprehensive horse care: feeding, stable cleaning, grooming, riding, training, and monitoring health. Experience in stud farms, with strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

Equine Work Experience

Equestrianism is a hobby that runs in my family: everyone in my household rides or has ridden horses, and I grew up surrounded by them. I have ridden and cared for horses since I was very young, developing a deep and natural connection. Throughout my life, I have practiced various disciplines, from basic dressage and show jumping to vaulting and participating in local horse festivals. My experience combines daily care of my own horses with work in stud farms, collaborating in handling young horses and stallions, always dedicating mindful attention, care, and responsibility to each animal.

Specialities

Experience in daily care and management of horses, including feeding, stable cleaning, preparation, riding, and overall welfare. Collaborated in training young horses and handling stallions, though not independently. High involvement, dedicating time and mindful attention to each horse’s needs.

Type of Ride Work

I have ridden and cared for various types of horses, including young horses, stallions, mares, and geldings, with most experience on mares and geldings. Throughout my life, I have practiced basic dressage, show jumping (competing up to Metro level), and vaulting. This variety has allowed me to develop broad skills and strong adaptability in horse riding and handling.

Competition Details

In Menorca, where I live, formal competition facilities are not available, but I have participated in show jumping contests, competing up to one meter in height. Although I haven’t worked in formal competition arenas, this experience has allowed me to develop riding technique and confidence, and I am eager to learn and train in more advanced competition settings.
